“Mukhyamantri – Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana” objective is to give economic independence to women between the age group of 21 to 65 years.

The scheme launched by Women and Child Development Department of the Government of Maharashtra better women’s health and nutrition, and empower their role in the family. Women will get financial support of ₹1,500/- with Direct Benefit Transfer.

There is much good news that has come for women in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra government has announced that under the ‘Ladki Bahin Yojana’, women will get monthly financial assistance i.e. 1500 rupees and loan support to begin their own business. This scheme is also known as Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.

Ladki Bahin Yojana for social welfare and upliftment of women

Under the scheme, financial assistance of Rs 1500 to the eligible female beneficiary that is given every month. 10 instalments have already been sanctioned by Maharashtra government. Women are curiously waiting for the date of 11th installment. As of now many women have benefited from this scheme. This scheme is taking a step forward towards making women financially independent and self-reliant.
The loan installment will be paid from the 1500 rupees that women get every month as such from the same amount the instalment is cut as to avoid the burden on women.

These conditions have to be followed for the loan

Between 21 years to 65 years women can get the loan
One has to be a citizen of Maharashtra.
The annual family income should be upto 2.5 lakhs.
Women who have a car or any member of their family is in a government job will not be eligible for this scheme.
This scheme is not applicable to those women who are taking advantage of any other government scheme.
The Mahayuti government said that women who are taking advantage of other schemes will be ineligible for ‘Ladki Bahin Yojana’.

Through SMS, Candidates can get information about the status of Ladki Bahin Yojana application. Applicants can also check the Ladki Bahin Yojana status online- by logging on to the Municipal Corporation website or by visiting the Ladki Bahin Yojana website to be precise. One can also clickon the ‘List of Selected Applicants’ to see the current status. Applicants can also by visiting the Anganwadi, Ward Office or Sarkar Seva Kendra can check the status offline.

Ladki Bahin Yojana Last Date

The government of Maharashtra started the Ladki Bahin Yojana on 17 August 2024. Though the Government approved benefits will be given from July. So, eligible women gets the benefits of July and August clubbed in September.
In the starting, 31 August 2024 was the last date for application. But due to the massive response the scheme was getting- the last date of Ladki Bahin Yojana was extended to 15 October 2024.

Women will have to go to the concerned bank and apply for a loan.
While applying for a loan, women will have to give information about their business.
Women beneficiaries will get a loan upto 40,000

According to Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, government will soon launch a new scheme. Under which the women beneficiaries of ‘LadkiBahin Yojana’ will be provided a bank loan of up to Rs 40,000. When will the 11th installment of LadkiBahin Yojana come?

According to state’s Deputy CM Ajit Pawar- the May installment of the Ladki Bahin Yojana will be deposited in the accounts of eligible women very soon. Pawar assured that this amount will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of women through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). He also hoped that this process will be completed by next week. finally, the 11th installment can come to the accounts of women by the end of May.
